Good day to you! I guess I've been lurking around here for a few months now. I just started adding some gigs to the calendar, so I figure I should introduce myself:

So my name is Chris, and SeedyKay is actually my initials, but spelled out...cdk...SeedyKay...can you dig? A friend of mine actually started calling me that because when I worked at Sweetwater I would always sign off on my emails at work with cdk. This habit had sprung from the fact that I didn't always have my own email account at work, so I would initial my messages so that the recipient would know it was me. Anyway, I had the good fortune of being in three different bands with this salesperson from Sweetwater named Vince Faris. Who I just have to say is the most phenominal keyboardist this town had seen in a minute. Sadly, he moved back to cheddarland. But it was Vince who started the SeedyKay thing.

More about me:

---I have lived in Ft Wayne since I was ten.
---Graduated Northrop HS.
---I attended Millikin U in Decatur, IL for a whopping semester!
---I worked at Sweetwater for 9 years in the warehouse.
---For the last two years I've been working at Colored Sands Glass Co.
---This coming Weds will make 9 months nicotine free for me. Whahoo!

Music I love...Grateful Dead, Black Crowes, Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin, Johnny Cash, Led Zep, The Beatles, Tom Petty, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Tori Amos, STS9, Jamiroquai, Jeff Buckley, Parliament Funkadelic, Blondie....I could go on and on with this...

....I've been singing around town with Greg Titzer who plays guitar for me for a year or so now. We do all covers at this time, and we really try to mix it up and do songs that have a pretty broad appeal. Come out and see us some time!

---I'm done babbling on for now. Thanks for taking the time to read this!

Yep, I do. Thanks for the tip on the Indy museum... I've never been there. I'll have to check it out.
