I wrote this song thinking about Bradley Nowell... its pretty much how i pictured his last few days battling with addiction. The lines "One day i will lose the war" are directly from his song pool shark. On a deeper note the song is more so about struggling with yourself... you could say the angels and devils on all of our shoulders. Feel free to comment on anything.
