The Breitling Avengers have a smaller version of Hurricane
Earlier this year, at the Baselworld Watch & Jewellery Show 2017, Breitling introduced a 50mm case made of proprietary "Breitlight" material with a new "hurricane" model. It seems to be too big for some people, and now comes back with a smaller diameter.Breitling Avenger Hurricane replica
The 45mm case is a very popular version for those who don't have enough to develop a Dwayne Johnson size wrist and wear the previous 50mm model. Like the previous model, this product is also made from Breitling's patented "Breitlight" material. It consists of a lightweight, high-tech polymer filled with composite fibers to enhance strength. Another beneficial quality of this material stems from natural diamagnetism and anti-allergy.
On the right side of the case are two buttons for operating the chronograph function with a screw-in crown between them. The case is fixed to the back of the case with solid screws. Also included is a "Breitlight" one-way rotating submersible bezel with a cycling label for the memory interval, with Arabic numerals engraved every 5 minutes. The top is a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective glare on both sides. The watch is water resistant to 100 meters (330 feet).
The timetable is now Breitling: Cobra yellow or volcanic black dial, white template-style Arabic numerals. A small black minute index mark can be seen around the dial. Although the previous version of this model series had a 24-hour "military time", this new version chose a 12-hour scale.
There are three sub-dial: 30 minute timer at 3 o'clock, 12 hour counter at 6 o'clock and sub-second hand at 9 o'clock. Both hands and Arabic numerals have been luminescent coated for added legibility. There is also a date aperture between the 4 o'clock and 5 o'clock positions. In essence, the design of the model has not changed much except for the smaller casing.
For those who have been to the gym or just like the larger size of the timepiece, the previous "Avenger Hurricane" is equipped with a 50 mm case and a 24-hour time scale is still available. But now, for most of us who are not equipped with XL limbs, Breitling has already offered this option. This move will be highly appreciated by those who feel that they have disappeared so far.
