I saw "Into the Void" on a few different occasions.

I thought Shawn Browning was the singer? Unless GRAVE ROBBER *is* Shawn and I don't know that...

Gene Simmons is a mad PR/Promotions guy... but I'd be happy the rest of my never hearing another KISS song.... unless it's Mike Conley singing it... then it's just beautiful.

Why is everyone hatin' on some KISS? My older brother had KISS albums, and as a little kid, they were one of the first reasons I got interested in music. I'd stare at the damn covers of "Destroyer" and "Rock and Roll Over" for hours! We had the Marvel Comics KISS edition, I had the Gene Simmons Halloween costume, I remember seeing "KISS Meets The Phantom of the Park", etc. KISS haters suck!

If anyone is seriously organizing this, I'm sure we (The Lurking Corpses) would be into playing too.

a friend of mine put it best for me once. KISS is a great pop rock n roll band, but a horrible metal band. i think the KISS that we all enjoy and love is with make up, the first 10 years of their run. then yes, it went downhill.

He would have been more accurate to say that KISS was a great marketing construct, but a horrible band, regardless of genre.

Any possible 2008 enjoyment of KISS can't be anything more than campy hipster post-ironic humor.
