This wasn't a stock "we're here for you" small-town bank jingle. They wanted a song that portrays a person's dedication to and love for their hometown. The requirements were: it had to be personal and emotional, written from the point of view of the signer, in a "classic rock" style that fit their Southern Illinois market, we needed a male and female version with individual lyrics, and the last line had to contain the Bank's slogan "Where Great Things Happen."
