i feel like this is going to come of super douche-baggy.. but, odds of a band containing members who are all as old as you are getting signed is probably slim no matter what

I don't think that's true at all...Especially for a band who wears masks so you can't even tell how old they are anyways.

Start looking around at bands who are getting signed. Not exactly spring chickens. In fact, I've been seeing more "older" bands gettign signed lately.

You know why?

No label wants to put up with cry baby-drugged up-I'm too in love with my girlfriend to go on tour-drunken-can barely play my guitar-what do i even do on stage-hey look at my tight girlie pants i bought at hot topic-where's my deli tray-primadonnas!

That's why.

Trust me. Because I'm soooooooooooooo old, I'm probably a little closer to booking agents, A& R reps, and managers than you are. I know the trend.

Sooo, if you aren't a little older and wiser, don't count on getting signed for awhile

Happy hunting!

I'd rather see an original rock band like Grave Robber get signed than any more of these stupid death metal or [fill in the blank]-core bands. The whole shouting-at-your-listener thing gets old quick.

I'm not signed. I feel old. If I feel old will labels hold that against me?
