Benson's = CLOSED

I just got a confirmation email from Jason @ Benson's that they have definitely closed down for good.*
For all of the other bands who have shows booked there, he said that he was going to try and re-book all of the shows, on their original dates, at another place, and that he will keep everyone updated.
*Apparenly, the building is already up for sale.

just watch what happens when the great new anti-smoke laws hit june 1-everyone ought to send our great govenor and ft wayne mayor a high hard thx for another fine f*cked-up deal. as for as anyone in politics is concerned the "smoker" society is just about as low as whale shite but yet with the new 44cent tax increase they have decided that we, not the non-smokers should pay for other peoples haealth care!! next they'll be taxing the venue owners the same due to second hand smoke issues. then you'll only be allowed to play someplace if your band is smoke-free. probably have to take a nicotine breathalyzer test before you audition. gads!! one of these days there's gonna be a revolution....and none too soon.
