Post by adam atherton »

OK, so, since giving up cigarettes and alcohol last year, i've been partaking quite a bit in good cigars....you gotta have a vice, i guess....and there's nothing like a good cigar at the end of a hard week, or after playing a show.

anyone else? what are you smoking? what do you like? i have a humidor full of all kinds of good sticks....let's compare and maybe trade.

Um, I have a really bad experience involving cigars. I hope deek doesn't see this thread. Ugh.
There are 10 types of people in the world.

Those who understand binary. . .

. . .and those who don't.

I've tried to cut my smoke intake down to pretty much my level of cursing-leading to an occasional bumming of a Jenn smoke. Used to smoke Backwoods Aromatics because I needed a bad habit, took a while (and them changing the flavor formula) for me to finally get rid of that one.

I have a pipe that I enjoy quite a bit. I've been trying all kinds of blends from Riegel's lately. I also love Arturo Fuentes. I like Maduro wrappers on most of my cigars. Riegel's also has some really good unbanded sticks for $2. I don't know where they get them - probably castoffs from a big maker (usually for a minor wrapper issue or something) - but they're very good. Box pressed, torpedo, whatever you want.

I like Punch as well.

Judging by some of your posts, I would say that's rather obvious.

I don't get it... oh, wait... no, not that kind of pipe. One for regular tobacco, like your grandpa used to smoke - or at least mine did.

Actually, I love the smell of pipes. My Ag teacher in high school (coolest teacher ever, by the way) used to smoke one constantly...loved it.

I may have to buy myself one soon thanks to this thread.

I got mine at Riegel for around $30. Nothing fancy, but a very nice smoking pipe.

I saw it...but will let you off the hook:)

I haven't smoked anything since, man, it has to be early December...

I have smoked cigars (but not good ones) in the past, and I really dig pipe tobacco...

I guess my vices of sex and masturbation will have to suffice:)
