CONFESSION...I never beat the original Mario Brothers. Actually, I've only ever beat 2 games. The original Contra for Nintendo and The Legend of Zelda on SNES.

Did anyone else ever play Intellivision? The controllers that had phone pads on them, and the big golden disc. I loved that damned thing. They had two games I played for years until I finally got my NES; Bomb Squad and Advanced Dungeons and Dragons. God that thing was fun.

We all live in a purple kangaroo, a purple kangaroo, a purple kangaroo
Don't let me fool you ET licked the sweat off of a sheriff's balls; but it was the only game I had. Well that and 'Boxing'.
My brother had a Star Wars lightsaber game but that required the paddle controllers; which we didn't have. (I think the game was called 'Jedi Arena' but I could be wrong.)
Times were tough for the ol' SM6.
I was pretty envious with the kids who had an intellivision.
Damn, I still have one. I don't think it works but it's in a box in my basement. I still remember the day we got it. My dad took me to a store and it was some big suprise. I think it was at the end of the days for it because I remember it being on clearance.
We even played it after the days of the original NES. Me and pops were addicted to Burger Time, till my little sister walked in front of the screen and tripped over the cord, unpluged it and dad's high score was ruined. He hit the Intellivision with his fist and it never worked since (a rare outburst of anger for dad I will add to his defense). I kept it all these years thinking I could take it apart and probably resolder a wire. Never thought about it till now. Now I have a new mission. ha ha
I tried the ps3 last night. It is beyond a shadow of a doubt the best video game system I have ever played. Now I just gotta find one to buy at retail price.
