In my quest to find the perfect Chinese dinner, one day we took a chance and ordered take out from this place.
I ordered the Chung King combo platter with shrimp scallops chicken and beef.
Damn it was good.
We ordered it a couple more times over the past month and decided it was our new favorite.
So tonight we ordered it again and the wife picked it up.
MMMMMMMMMM my favorite once again.
Imagine my surprise to find out that tonight's meal had a bonus!
A forking LIVE COCKROACH.
DAMMIT
So we drove all the way back and returned the whole meal and the forking manager had nothing to say but "Oh."
My first call in the morning is to the board of health.
DAMMIT.
Who in town has got killer Chinese that DOESNT CONTAINE PARASITES?
Dammit.

The Saigon on S. Calhoun - delicious and roach-free Vietnamese food for the decades I've ate there (as opposed to free roaches, like you received.) They make the best egg rolls I've ever had as well.
Having worked at a few restaurants in my teens, there are roaches in more of them than you care to know. Roaches like good food, too.

Eh, I dunno...about 4 months ago I was there for lunch. It wasn't Zack de la Rocha walking on the wall.....

I pulled a bumble bee out of Rally's french fry box once, they at least gave me some free food. I can't believe the guy wouldn't offer you anything.

He gave us our money back.
Once a place is tainted I sure as heck don't want any more food from them.

The name should have given it away!

Ditto. We get carry out from Yen Ching all the time. Consistently good.
