I heard a commercial on the radio for this product. (excellent use of punctuation if I do say so myself) Apparently what this item does is it makes your car invisible to police ray guns, and if you get a speeding ticket the Phaser 2 company will pay it for you.
I don't know about anyone else but this seems like a really, really bad idea.

If they're going with a Trek theme in naming the product, shouldn't it be called the CLOAKING DEVICE ?
I mean a phaser wouldn't make you invisible to police, it would eliminate them. . .

Better be careful with those cloaking phasers. On an episode of ST:tNG Ensign Ro and Lt. Cmdr. LaForge were 'phased' into a cloak-like state because of a Romulan transporter accident.
I know I don't need to tell you that a molecular phase inverter used to generate a cloak isn't the safest thing to try!

And on that episode, they never explained why they could pass through bulkheads on the ship, but NOT through the floors. . . .

..and I was always bothered by the fact they couldn't touch anything; but could still breath.
It was pretty gnarly though when Geordi knocked that romulan scum through the wall and out into space though.
