Police are questioning a Delaware County teen-ager in connection with the highway sniper case, sources said today.
There was no official confirmation from authorities, who have said they plan to strictly limit the amount of information released so as not to damage their investigation.
WTHR-TV (Channel 13), the Star’s newsgathering partner, quoted unnamed law enforcement sources as saying that a 17-year-old from Delaware County is being questioned and that a weapon has been recovered. It was not known whether the weapon was the one used to kill one motorist and injure another near Seymour early Sunday.
So what are everyone's thoughts on this whole sniper business.
After being the roomate of a former Marine sniper I can say I'm freaked out. Woah.
Anyone else unsettled about snipers? (I'm looking at all you FPS gamers!)

i'm sure as sh*t not scared of the indiana sniper. granted the accuracy of some indiana hillbilly would be higher than most states', i still feel my odds are a lot better of dying from SARS, being sexed to death by a baker's dozen cheerleaders from a burgeoning third world country, and the Flu. we have a worse chance of getting in a wreck and dying than being sniped. watch the road!!!!!!!!!!!!
but if this somehow brings us together and makes neighbors talk to each other for a change, then i'm all for it. bring on the snipers.
on edit: i drive 69/465/65 all the time.

I tend not to pay attention to the news beyond glancing at the newspaper dispensing machines en route via some pedestrian manner. To me, it boils down to there being a very fine line in society that people would rather not admit is easily crossed. Events such as this sniper series serve to illustrate the frailty of this world as we know it. It's akin to Walken (in a long-gone Woody Allen flick) talking about considering crossing the dividing line on the highway. Mayhem is not that far away and its periodic manifestation causes the populous to awaken momentarily from their daily slumber.

im confused as to what that means, or how it is relevant, just looking for clarification, not picking a fight

see thats what im worried that he means, that is a blanket statement that holds absolutely no merit, I know Marines that have served and have had to shoot people, and they're not out sniping people they're not messed up, the fact that people assume that cause your a Marine your messed up is in fact messed up.

actually i'm pretty sure he's not saying that - which is what makes it funny.
but for real, marines are crazy - but is it really crazy when they're made to be crazy? and what is crazy today?
why do you take it so personally anyways?

I wasn't saying that is what he was saying, thats why I was asking for clarification, I take it personally cause one of my best friends is in the Marines and I have met many other Marines because of this, and they arent flipped up, or crazy or murders ( I know you didn't say that) but it seems all to often these days the military is blamed and shatted upon by people against the war, if you hate the war congratulation, but there is no need to piss on the entire military, now that I have derailed this whole thread, lets get back to the issue at hand, some loser shooting at people.
