So I'm pretty much sh*tting myself while waiting to see this movie, I loved the old films because for the longest time they were the only decently done comic adaptations on screen. I got all nostalgic and rewatched the first two the other day and my interest level couldn't be any higher.
I read a few reviews from reliable sources and most say that this one tops "Batman Begins" (a great movie) and may even top the holy "Spider-Man 2" as finest comic book film ever made.
I already got my tickets.

Ever since the teaser trailer I've been hooked. I'm eager to see how this fits into the previously established movie storylines (sans the last one).
Awesome poster BTW.

The last two, it picks up where number two left off.

10 p.m. the day before it is "officially" released isn't early enough for you?

It was amazing! Go see it!
I hold it second only to Spidey 2, narrowly beating out Batman Begins for my overall number 2 on the comic movie list.

My opinion so closely parallels Zach's, it's sick. I think its neck & neck for the number one spot next to Spider-Man 2 for me. And it was a hell of a way to bring the franchise back from the grave. There were so many moments of pure flawlessness that it was scary. My face hurt from smiling so much. Hooray for Bryan Singer, Dan Harris, and Michael Doughtery for making an awesome movie.

p.s. Sam Huntington stole the show. And not in a corperate big wig, "let's put a young kid in there to cover the 13 to 18 year old demographic" way. He was the PERFECT Jimmy Olsen.

I swear to Geebus that I was all tingly and sh*t for the first 45 minutes of the film.
Two words that sum up how I felt about the film: Hard Nipples

um....I thought that perhaps his performance was so fantastic it went without saying. He was perfect for that role. As was Brandon Routh, and Sam Huntington. Kate Bosworth, and Frank Langaila(sp.) I don't quite so much know about. Mind you, they were both great, I just feel as though there are probably some others out there that could have done a bit better job.

Hugh Laurie (House) was supposed to play Perry White. But since House is a hit and actually got picked up again after its first season, he didn't have time to film both.
Anything is better than Margot Kidder as Lois Lane, IMHO. Yuck.
