Yep. He lived in my hometown. (Walton, KY)

The sad thing is I didn't even know that until he died.
I didn't even know that him and a lot of others had died until a couple years ago because I stopped watching it when I didn't have cable.

It's pretty much a career requirement for wrestlers to die prematurely. I'll leave it up to someone else to summon the list.

and start a new Oscar award just for these guys
for their fine acting abilities...

Exactly. How many "real" actors/actresses actually cut themselves to sell an injury? Or take bumps/falls WITHOUT using a stuntman?

wow this thread is awesome. i wish my grandpa was still alive to see this. he used to go on about how wrestling is a true artform, the perfect combination of entertainment and athleticism. the last time i spoke to him before he passed away he asked me to record wrestlemania so he could watch it in the hospital. that night they put him in a morphine induced coma and he died 2 days later. interesting side note, that was the night owen hart died.

i was trying to come up with a list of wrestlers that died before their time. so far all i have is......

Andre the Giant
"Flyin" Brian Pillman
"Ravishing" Rick Rude
Hawk of the LOD
"Mr. Perfect" Curt Henning
Eddie Guerrero

anyone got any others?

The filters aren't smart enough to distinguish between meanings of the word "d*ck".

I thought this was for individual wrestlers? Anderson's mom was always part of a tag-team.

D*ck the Bruiser? My mom hates him. my grandpa used to make the whole family go and see him at the fair grounds in indy whenever they were in town. him and cowboy bob orton, gorilla monsoon, lou thesz were some of his favorites. But D*ck was by FAR his favorite. me and him used to argue because he said the bruiser could mop the floor with hulk hogan. i used to get so mad i'd be in tears by the time it was over. once again this thread rocks! i have'nt thought about this stuff in years!
