The "Three Andos at the Dock" pic is bad azz. Great photoshopping? What program or technique did you use for this?

Tripod with three photos taken not moving the camera. . .layer them over each other. . bam. . instant bad ass.

Layering is simply, roughly 'cutting out' the images and lining them all up to become a three layered matching pic.

Anyhoo

Photoshop layering is for pussies.

I cloned the Ando for this pic.

Ando clones are a pain in the ass.

You'd probably need a timer or a remote shutter, as taking three pics and layering the whole frame could easily produce blur if everything is not exactly in the same place...granted, I am thinking film...

Might be a lot easier with digital...

i could show the process a lot better than i could explain it. . .

for me, it would all be about rendering. i would yank the anderson out of two other photos and smash him into the primary photo.

to much precise cutting, then you have proper shadowing issues.

I set the tripod and the camera and took three identical pics and just moved Ando.

You can do roughly two simple edits to merge them.

Hmmm...don't remember saying that wasn't possible...just that you could easily get a blurry background layering all three unless you had a timer or remote shutter...

But, maybe that is the same as me seing it wasn't possible...

this took three laser-guided cameras, a GPS and a drill press to get the right focusing
