We are thinking a 4 week Fri/Sat night competition. (That depends on response.) There will be a $25.00 per Band Entry Fee. (For Expenses) The Competition will be held at The Jam Crib Rehearsal Center; You must be a member there to compete. Call Tim Coffelt for Details.($12.00 yearly membership fee) We are asking each Band to have 2 originals & 1 Cover for performances. We are thinking to use equipment provided by Jam Crib for most performances... until final show! Make sure to round up fans for your competing nights! There inputs will be taken in consideration. Fans entry fee for each person per night is $5.00. Wanting to get this off the ground in May , and getting done by 1st week in June! If interested contact Tim @ 715-8920 . Hint: Top Prize a nights play in a Public Show, Cash & More! Keep checking Blog for additional info including prize pkgs & more.

Jam Crib and Bludspyre thank you for looking at this article. If you are a band with members under the age of 21, and are interested in this competition, Tim at the Jam Crib now has the rules and regulations. We also have decided on Fri night May 11 as the first round. Deadline to get your entries in for this contest by april 30. We will not collect entry fees until we evaluate the number of participants. We need at least 12 bands to continue with this event. Show your support for local music and for the Jam Crib by calling Tim. Don't let this opportunity pass you by!

never mind him, he'd just trying to start problems. he has this mental block against BoB's in general. he doesn't think that bands should compete against each other. i half-heartedly agree with him, but i think that prizes are fun to win.

this sounds fun,but i dont have $25 and i dont have a full band. crazy to think my brother plays bass and my other brothers plays drums, but somehow it worked out we all hate each other and can't work together for anything. and I guess i just suck at finding other people. I'd really like to do this though.

I would be into a "Battle of the Bands" type situation if it didn't sound so harsh.
I'm thinking more along the lines of a "Band Confrontation" or maybe even a "Band Scuffle", but a "Battle"....it just sounds too dangerous to me.
Oh wait, I'm 32, I don't qualify anyways. Sorry.
