I remember talking to Richard about this...I hope it works out well, it would be a wonderful thing for original music.
"My friend says he wants to die. He's in a band, they sound like Pearl Jam, the clothes are all black and the music is crap."

I was there trying to help with the show. The bands did a incredible job. I think it's gonna be hard to pick just one song from each band to put on the comp disc. This disc should really rock, and it seems that artists are having alot of fun up there having the chance to play their own songs on a Friday night.Lou B do B dooo wrote:So did anyone here goto the show and if so what did you think? Do you think this is a worth while thing for the Fort Wayne Music Scene? What was your opinion of the bands?
Basement What really impressed me, and their fans made their show even funner to watch. Sketch Machine is one of my favorite bands in Fort Wayne, so it was great seeing them play once again.
Great show - everyone who wasnt there missed alot. I think it's gonna done every other month, so it will be a long running thing.

If you were not at Columbis Street Friday night you missed out on a great live show. I had never seen Sketch Machine before so I was looking forward to hearing them. They put on a good show and I like their sound good crowd interaction. I could have done without the guitar player playing non stop from the time they set up until the end of the set. STILL A GOOD BAND! Basement What? really put on a great show I never get tired of seeing them live. Good crowd interaction and good flow of the set. one of my favorite bands around. I look forward to the next MOMS showcase on Friday night.
