I don't get it. Does Anderson like it in his opinion, too?
what? Hey.. keep me outta this.

I don't like anything in my opinion.

Well we do... oh wait, I'm not supposed to say that since I'm competing with them on Tuesday...

In all seriousness, if you don't like them, just politely say so - or better yet, politely don't say so - "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all..."

That's what I dislike about BOTB's... Why can't we all just show up, cheer for everybody, vote for your favorite and then share a beer and a belly rub when it's all over?

Our sole intention of playing BOTB was to expose ourselves (insert anderson's mom joke here) to a few more people, make some new friends (and hopefully fans) and get a few gigs out of it. That's already happened, so advancing further is just icing on the cake if that happens.

Honestly, everybody come out, enjoy a couple of hours of great local music, vote for your favorite, then buy me a beer and rub my belly when it's over...

If we are all God's children, what makes Jesus so special?

You can share your opinion, just please be nice about it. I thought that post was a little over the top is all.

Either way, Ya'll better come out and see Moxter the Monster, the Magnascopic Migraines, and a new 36" kick drum (which is a rumor I heard of LLC).

Not a bad idea, Sanskafka...can you make it happen via your Library connections? I'm sure our sweet lil' buddy J. Landis would film it.

I predict that whoever plays the new Golden Smog album - which is released that same day - will win.

Otherwise, it's a toss up.

Defining JL as anything aside from a "Boyz II Men Fan" would be inaccurate. You could however, say something like, "Jeff Landis, the Boyz II Men Fan/Impersonator that did the call-in talk show and was banned from the Library for wrestling in the media department."

A true Ft. Wayne hero and perpetual punchline.

alas, the 36" is still resting peacefully in the attic where it belongs, so there will be no such appearance. I did however purchase a new bass drum. I now have 8" on Jon Ross.....Sorry little guy.

I see that guy about 6 times per week as he strolls by our storefront listening, and singing those timeless Motown classics.

That guy put a Boyz II Men greatest hits collection on hold and never picked it up....in a strange way, thats the best way to describe him.
