Thanks, dude. I thought Mr. Penhollow did a real nice job, and Janelle didn't make me look nearly as horrible as I actually do. We're looking for some TV coverage of the actual recording session, which will feature Rick Brown on clarinet, Dave Sapp on trumpet and Andy Hicks from the Phil on trombone...

There's little prepositional choice (and none in this case): it's almost always an agreement issue. One "pokes at," one does not "poke of." "Johnny, stop poking of your food." "Never poke of a hornet's nest with a stick." "You know, middle of the afternoon, when your hunger's pokin' of ya, pokin' of...

Do you remember when kids were typing in this "every other letter capped" thing?

"hEy To AlL mY hOmIeS oUt ThErE, a bIg sHoUtOuT, nUtHiN' bUt lOvE..."

I mean, it's really hard to do. I can understand typing with no caps or punctuation, but that sh*t was difficult.

Bad, like, frozen salad with brown lettuce bad (Fairfield), cold entree bad (Casa Mare). I prefer Casa Grille on Stellhorn to any in the chain, and I'll never go back to Fairfield (three hideous meals in a row).

no i worked at casa ristorante and blu tomato, casas is nasty and there is not as much effort or ingredients put into their food trust me. Every Casa is different. Ristorante, Mare and Fairfield are all pretty bad in my experience... but Casa Grille, just down the road from Blu Tomato, is a superio...

Kate Black has been in everything: recently at First Pres in Our Town and Twilight of The Golds (among others), tons of stuff at Arena and Civic... we recently saw her in Sylvia and a staged reading at the studio theater at IPFW... before Kate moved back to Fort Wayne, she was a professional Equity ...

Just to make a slight correction: I talked to Kate some more about this, and she says that a musical or SHakespeare will go 6 to 8 weeks of rehearsal, but a regular comedy or drama usually gets done in 4 to 5 weeks. But rehearsals are five nights a week, and often an extra on SUnday PM. During perfo...

According to my friend Kate (who performs in a lot of local theater), you are committing to six to eight weeks of rehearsals (that's five nights a week) and possibly a few weekend rehearsals, and then a run of two to four weekends of performance (which will include Friday and Saturday evenings and a...

And Sweetwater may discount that price... I just got a stupid low price on my most recent Waves upgrade by going through a dealer instead of the company online.

I upgraded from version 4 (I've been using DP since 1.something). The usual deal with MOTU is dot-something upgrades (5.0 to 5.1) are free, upgrade to a whole new version number (from 4.21 to 5.0) cost bucks. Every upgrade has been worth more than I paid for it. Currently, an upgrade from any previo...
