Odd choice of poster design considering only 1 of the bands playing is politically-charged

And that's why powerhouse singers like Plant, Cornell, etc. tend not to want to focus on playing an extra instrument at the same time.

I say it depends on the kind of music you're playing. There are many great 4-piece bands that have frontmen who don't need to play guitar. Graverobber doesn't seem to need two guitars because they seem to mostly play the same part, and you guys mostly play pretty straightforward power chord rhythm p...

Grunge is back?!

Has anyone heard the new album Soulcrusher from Operator? This is actually a pretty good hard rock record, and you'll love it if you like Soundgarden. It sounds almost like exactly what you would picture Soundgarden sounding like today if they were still around.

Has anyone heard this talked about on 98.9? Apparently it was supposed to be mentioned.

This is tomorrow, here's something to do on Sunday evening!

Berlin Music Pub (River Tavern)?

My band is booked to play this week at a bar on W. Main St. called Berlin. Apparently it used to be called River Tavern. I have a few questions for those who play bars regularly since this is our first bar gig. We're booked for about an hour's set, and we're original so I'm wondering if this will be...

It has already become a race issue. I would bet that many of those on Vick's side are only actively supporting him because he IS black. I don't know why, but it seems like there are so many instances in this country (O.J. Simpson) where when a black man is targeted for something, the whole African-A...

Hey I just found out that some of the members of Ingsoc (the winning band) were 21 and over...I wonder if this will change anything since they broke the age limit rule.

Here are the results of the show: Marnee won Audience Favorite and Ingsoc won Judge's Favorite. All bands won 2 free hours of studio time at Monastic Chambers. I noticed that one of the three judges was Adam Atherton, so I'm curious as to what he will say about this show. I played in Artificial Red,...
