I'm going to replace the cheap stock Ibanez PU's in my guitar, it's a great guitar but the pick ups are cheap. What do you all recommend/use?
I'm not a metal player, I play a hard alt rock. My guitar has a les paul config. Haven't tested very many different pick ups. Don't know what to get.

The tube pre I got on eBay arrived today, so I put it to the test. It does significantly warm up the tone, and adds a saturated attack.
