Um, I think it goes like [insert any creed tab here] I'm sorry, but in my opinion this is one example of why the FW "scene" will always struggle to be anything more than what it is. There is a plethora of talent around here but nobody will ever get a sniff of the big-time unless and until the petty...
My cell phone contract is up with them in September and that's it for me. Never will I deal with those f### again. Not to mention the fact that FiOS doesn't even appeal to me.
Verizon and Verizon Wireless = two different companies. Why would FiOS appeal to you? When Comcast's 40-yea...

Totally agree. There are a lot if different things that go into making music but for me nothing more musically wrenching than trying to keep a drummer in time...but then typically a drummer like that isn't listening to me anyway...or any listening to anything for that matter. Lack of listening- I g...

you said you're getting noise but are you also hearing your mix or just the noise? I agree you shouldn't be using h/p out for monitoring, use the main outs on the interface. The h/p output usually uses a separate (cheaper) D/A converter than the mains and is not intended for additional amplification...

word. I think Murton is the real deal though. Have to see if the club has enough patience to keep him around. I remember sitting in the left field bleachers at Wrigley when the Marlins were in town and Floyd really took a beating from all the fans out there. Name calling, beer throwing, you name it ...

I understand that in the studios lately, they take the resonant head off the kick, mike it close with one mike, then build some sort of tunnel out of heavy cloth off the front of the kick, then place a second mike at the end of that tunnel. Anyone seen this? Yeah, this has been fairly common for so...

I like mine wide open also. Right now I'm using a PowerStroke 3 on the batter side with no muffle. I'll usually tune the reso head even all the way around just tight enough to get the wrinkles out. I'll also occasionally place a thin strip of 2" foam inside that just touches both heads. I agree that...
