It's well before you get to Columbia City. And the band is well worth the drive ;) Brad is correct, Beemers is just a few miles outside of Fort Wayne on US30. My band played there last Saturday. The crowd seems to be mix of folks who come to enjoy smoke with their drink, pool players, SDI workers f...

You've got to be sh**ing me! Do you really think this is the only reason anyone cares about Johnny Cash? The only reason anyone cares about Cash is because of the short lived rockabilly "fad" that ran rampant in the late 90's with every shmoe who bought a can of pomade pissing all over Johnny's gre...

I agree with G Fresh. Go righty! I'm a lefty who learned how to play right-handed and have been doing it that way for the past 14 years. Honestly, if you're just starting out learning, you might as well learn right-handed because at this point your hands really shouldn't know the difference at least...

George Ogg is an excellent guitarist and teacher. He is a nice guy, who is also in our same general age bracket. (40's/50's) He can be reached at 260-396-2062.

In the case of my local group, hard work by the band and fan support are of equal importance. Doing our best to combine art and commerce, we put this together in September & October of 2007: www.myspace.com/augustaroseband Hard work by the band members has resulted in things happening very quickly f...

A quote from Dave Barry: "The Democrats seem to be basically nicer people, but they have demonstrated time and again that they have the management skills of celery. They're the kind of people who'd stop to help you change a flat, but would somehow manage to set your car on fire. I would be reluctant...

I really liked "No Country For Old Men", and thought the ending was great. It was only at the film's conclusion, that the part played by Tommy Lee Jones was ultimately revealed to be the true central character of this motion picture. I found it to be quite a unique "twist" by the talented Coen Broth...

You remember when mediocrity didn't rule the day.
